Close your eyes, open your mind, let the music pass through you taking the tensions with it. Follow this journey of underground baselines and beats from smooth tech house through more industrial chaotic sounds and off into minimal and melodic techno.
As always – thanks for your support. Let us know how it feels for you.
There was a period in the late eighties and early nineties which brought together acid house and dark minimal electro into something harder, darker, purer and it created a new sound, a new following. It birthed the foundations of so many good things…
If you love the retro feel you’ll enjoy our latest live set. We set off with retrowave and synthwave bringing some updated 80s sounds before getting funkier with our beloved breakbeat and then on into more techy sounds and melodies.
Stick it on in the car…go on, you know you want to…with that old leather jacket and shades lol
Breakbeat…we love it so! It takes your favourite parts of all the other genres and ties them together so well. This set is non-stop turbo baselines with some of our favourite samples and melodies – make sure you have some room to move your feet 🙂
As ever, thanks for your support and positive energy – Dan & Ben
The next installment of our breakbeat sets focusing on tunes with a strong baseline. We start out with some nu skool breaks, then journey through some electro and funk styles as well as some of the classic sounds that dominated the UK hardcore movement.
Thanks for taking the time to listen, we’d love to hear whether you enjoyed it and any tunes which stand out for you.
3 hours of deep and dark minimal techno – this set starts out with some funky minimal baselines and then drives off into a journey that takes in some hard techno, minimal industrial, vocal minimal house and classic tech trance.
Thanks for supporting us, we really appreciate the comments and messages from you all.
This is the set from our first show in 2017 on londonpirateradio.co.uk. We start out with 2 solid hours of up-front nu stool breaks and then cross over to some techno keeping the pace but bringing in some more melodic sounds over the heavy bass lines.
As ever – thanks for listening and we’d love to hear your feedback on this mix.
Cheers, Dan & Ben
